Writing

Both ends of the stack... Fullstack?

I did eight years as web developer, mostly Java 6 and backend work, then... jQuery and AngularJS opened the door for eleven in the browser. Now, catching up with Python and AI, notes rather than tutorials — usually written while I'm still figuring the thing out. Three topics; here's what each one covers.

The part of the software people actually see and touch.

The user's side of the thing. React, UI, design, and everything you can actually see.

The machinery behind it, where the work happens out of sight.

The dark side of the same thing. Python, APIs, AI, and everything we sweep under the carpet.

The part where I talk about the nineteen years behind me.

Past, present, and where I'm headed from here.

The long version, worked out properly.

Two years, twelve thousand kilometers, and no Python

What happened between saying I would learn Python and actually starting: a move from Argentina to Spain, and an industry that changed shape while I was filling in forms.

  2. Front-End

    Getting started?

    How I built this.

In 2024 I took a Tailwind template apart to learn Astro. Two years later I threw it out and built this one from scratch, around three levels of depth and one list that holds everything I write.

    • Astro
    • TypeScript
    • Tailwind
    • CSS scroll-driven animation
    • Canvas 2D
